An
early Happy Easter to everybody. Isn’t it supposed to
be springtime? Here’s hoping this dreary weather clears
by Easter Sunday or at least by Tuesday for the Red Sox
home opener. Speaking of the
Sox we have 3 new wines coming in Late May/early June.
Schilling Schardonnay, Manny Being Merlot, and
Caberknuckle. These wines will have some of the
proceeds going to charity and are from a quality Chilean
producer. I haven’t tried them yet but you know we have
to have a tasting when they arrive. Check out our
website (corksfinewine.com) to
learn more about the wines and see a brief video about
the charitable venture, and check out this weeks
mystery discount..
We will be having an
Easter themed wine tasting this Friday night from 4 to 7
PM. We will sample some Riesling, Gewurztraminer,
Bordeaux, and a great new Oregon Pinot Noir from Patton
Valley Vineyard. We have a huge selection of wines to
compliment your Easter dinner and have a large selection
of Kosher wines for Passover as well.
In attempt to kick
start Spring, I’m thinking we crack open some of the
Spring Beerswe
have on hand tonight from 4:30 to 7:30. We can try the
White Ale from Sam, the spring offerings from Newport
Storm and Blue Moon, and any other Spring beer that you
would like to try.
We will be closed
Easter Sunday so that we can enjoy the holiday with our
families as well. We will be open 9 AM till 10 PM on
Good Friday and Saturday so there is plenty of time to
stock up on all your favorite beer and wine for the
Holidays.
Thanks!
Robert
