Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Cork’s weekly newsletter.  Not too much new happening in the dead of summer here at Cork’s.  We have scheduled our big fall wine tasting though.  Get out your calendars and block out Friday, October 26^th from 5 to 8 PM.  This is our big pre-holiday tasting with over 20 vendors and over 100 wines.  We will have updates posted on our website (corksfinewine.com) as we get closer to the event.

On the beer front we have a few new beers and a bunch of Autumn/Oktoberfests to hit next week.  New from Brewery Ommegang is the Ommegeddon Funkhouse Ale with Brettanomyces.  We also have our 1^st Oktoberfest of the season in from Paulaner available in 6-packs.  We don’t have a tasting scheduled for tonight but if anybody is interested I will crack these open for you today.

Don’t forget the date change on the Kickoff Beer Tasting.  The new date is Saturday, September 15^th from 2 to 5 PM.  We are currently filling in the lineups and will updating the website with all the details.  Don’t forget we will be raffling off that Bud Light Redsox Fridge at this event.  We also have a Sam Adams golf bag and lots of other goodies to give away.

Have you seen our brand new big screen Hi Def TV in the front of the store!?!  Now you don’t have to worry about missing any of the Redsox or Patriots action when you run in to pick up your beer or wine. We also have Oprah, Dr. Phil and all your favorite soaps throughout the day so stop by and check it out.
