Hey, it’s only
Tuesday what the heck am I doing sending the e-mail
early?
I’m actually taking a
few days vacation to visit Portland, ME and see the
Seadogs (http://www.portlandseadogs.com/) before they
become Redsox stars. For those who have never made the
trek to Hadlock Field it’s worth the trip. It is a
beautiful little park complete with its own green
monster.
Speaking of the
Redsox, we have received a few more cases of the Sox
wines to sell. Anybody who pre-ordered the wines should
have received a phone call and can pick then up their
orders at the front counter. We still may be able to
get more but for now we must have a 1 case limit per
customer.
There is no beer
tasting scheduled for this Thursday but we have 1 lined
up for next week. Sherwood Forest has added Sheriffs
IPA to their line that includes Archers Ale. They will
be here next Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 to taste you on
their local brew.
We will be launching
a new wine for us this Friday night from 4 to 7 PM
called Smoking Loon. These wines have been around for
awhile and we’ve had several requests for them so we
decided to try them out. We will sample the Chardonnay,
Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet.
