I hope you all had a
great 4th of July holiday.
The weather almost held out, but at least last weekend
was great and this weekend appears to be shaping up
nicely
as well.
Unfortunately we have had to re-schedule the Smoking
Loon
Tasting that was planned for this Friday night. The
make-up
date will be Friday, July 27th from 4 to 7 PM.
Since it’s been very slow for both the beer and wine
tastings
the past few weeks, and as we prepare for the huge 1st
Annual
Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 14th from 1
to 4 PM
we will be scaling back the regular weekly tastings for
a bit.
Tonight’s beer tasting will be the Stone Vertical Epic
07-07-07.
For those unfamiliar with this unique brew, Stone
Brewery has
been doing this every year since 02-02-2002. We have a
very
limited supply so be sure to stop by to check this one
out
while it lasts.
There will be not be a wine tasting for Friday night but
as
most of you know I work Friday nights and will pop open
most
anything (within reason) that you would like to try.
We will have new info on the 1st Annual Customer
Appreciation
Day on our website so be sure to check it out at
www.corksfinewine.com.
And be sure to mark your calendar for our 3rd Annual
Fall
Kickoff Beer Tasting. It will be the day before the Pats
start their next Super Bowl run on Saturday, September
8th
from 2 to 5 PM.
