OK, we have good news and bad news on the Redsox wine tasting this Friday night from 4 to 7 PM.  The good news is the tasting and the ticket drawing are still on.  The bad news is that we have very little of the wine to sell.  Due to overwhelming demand and delays in the shipping we will only receive 6 bottles of each varietal for the tasting.  We’ll need 2 to 3 bottles for the tasting so that leaves us only a few bottles to sell this Friday night.

We will get the rest of our shipment in about a week to 10 days so we will be taking down names for pre-orders the night of the tasting.  Our overall shipment will more than likely be cut as well so in order to be fair to everybody we will have to limit the amount any 1 person can purchase so that everyone will have a chance to buy a few bottles.

Be sure to check out the rules on the website (corksfinewine.com) to win awesome Sox tix.

Kevin from Commonwealth Wines will be here to do the tasting and will also have a couple of other wines to sample you on as well.  Wente Riesling and Artesa Elements will join Schilling Schardonnay, Manny Being Merlot, and Caberknuckle in Friday nights Redsox lineup.

More good news is that our friend Scott will be tasting the outstanding beers from Southern Tier Thursday night from 4:30 to 7:30. He will sample you on the IPA and Hop Sun Summer Wheat Beers that we have available in 6-packs.  I’m sure he’ll also crack open a few of the 22 oz. that include the Tripel, Big Red, Heavy Weizen, Unearthly, and Backburner.  These were a huge hit at our last tasting so if you’re tasting for the 1st time or re-visiting the brews you’re in for a treat.  As with all our Thursday night beer tastings you will receive a 10 % discount on any beers you try that evening.

More bad news is the Sox have lost have lost 4 straight.  The good news is we still have a 10 ½ game lead onthe Evil Empire!  So come by this Friday night and mingle with fellow Redsox Nation members and help us launch the Redsox charity wines.  We will have plenty of cheese & crackers and other snacks to munch on as well so stop by after work and don’t forget to wear your Sox gear to win the tickets and other Redsox goodies.

Robert
