Woohoo World Series Champions!! I knew they would do it
if we kept the faith.
That
was quite a weekend with our biggest, most successful
wine tasting ever here at Cork’s followed by the 4 game
sweep by the Sox. Thank you to all that came and I hope
you all had a good time and found some new and
interesting wines for the holidays.
Well
I’m pretty sure that there is only 1 November and now
that I know who Dane Cook is we need to get rid of some
of these Oktoberfest beers. So we will taste a few
tonight and have a 10 % off sale on any and all
Oktoberfest/Pumpkin/Autumn beer that you can still find
in the store. Tonight from 4:30 to 7:30 we will
taste/re-taste/drink Beck’s Oktoberfest, Spaten
Oktoberfest, Jack’s Pumpkin Ale, and Otter Creek
Oktoberfest. So come in soon to enjoy what I think are
the best of all the seasonal beers before they are all
gone.
Well
you know I couldn’t pass up getting more Red Sox wines.
We had a run on them leading up to the World Series and
sold out on them. So since we’re repeating the beer
tasting we may as well re-taste the Schilling
Chardonnay, Manny Being Manny Merlot, and the
Caberknuckle one last time this Friday night from 4 to 7
PM. These will make great Christmas gifts for all the
Red Sox fans out there so stop by and check them out.
Since we’re doing repeats and we have to celebrate our 2nd
World Series title in 4 years, let's pop open the Yellow
and Pink from Yellowglen. These are Australia’s # 1
selling sparkling wines and a great value alternative to
the ever pricey Champagnes out there.
So
now it’s time to shift our attention to the undefeated
Patriots who have their biggestobstacle yet in the Colts
on their way to a perfect 16- 0 season. This is a 4 PM
start on Sunday so there will be plenty of time to pop
in and stock up on your favorite brewski for this big
showdown.
