Welcome to Cork’s weekly newsletter. I hope you all
enjoyed the holiday weekend. It was crazy here at
Cork’s. Between the Parrotheads and the PGA golfers it
was a very busy weekend for us here. I hope all the
golf fans got a chance to see Tiger and Phil at the TPC,
it was a mob scene but a great event.
We
are just over a week away from our 3rd Annual
Kickoff Beer Tasting. The date is Saturday, September
15th from 2 to 5 PM. We’re putting the
finishing touches on the lineup and should come close to
100 beers for you to sample. We will be updating the
website (corksfinewine.com) between now and the event so
check back often for details and updates.
There won’t be any Thursday night beer tastings until
the big 1 on the 15th, but I promise to have
1 every Thursday thereafter right up thru the holidays.
We have a private wine tasting scheduled for this
Friday night but will kickoff the fall season next
Friday with our weekly tastings from 4 to 7 PM.
We’re stocking up on all the fall beers and are starting
to bring in new wines for the big fall/holiday wine
tasting. October 26th from 5 to 8 PM is the
date for our 3rd Annual Grand Fall Wine
tasting so be sure to save that night to taste some
great wines.
Even
though our kickoff beer tasting is next week the NFL
season kicks off with the Super Bowl ChampionColts vs.
Saints tonight (grrrrr…should have been the Pats), and
the Pats vs. Jets this Sunday. We still have a limited
amount of Coors Light 36 pk. Patriot cooler bags left so
be sure to pick 1 up for the weekend. Go Pats!!...and
Sox too!!
