Welcome
to Cork’s weekly newsletter. I need to make
this pretty brief as we need to prepare for the
immanent invasion of the Parrotheads for day 1
of Jimmy Buffet. And of course, start to build
momentum for game 7 of the NBA Finals. I really
thought the C’s would take it in game 6, but I
think it will be even sweeter now to win on
their court in game 7! Looks like the weather
is clearing up for the show and we should have a
banner day for both!
We do have 2 tastings lined up for to get you
ready for tonight’s concert. Vinnie will be
here from 2 to
4:30
to sample you on Jimmy Buffet’s own beer,
Landshark. He will also have Margaritaville
ready-to-drink cocktails to taste as well. I’m
not sure if he will get out the mega-blender and
crush the ice or just chill them in a glass.
Either way it’s a great way to get ready for the
show and the 1.75 L bottles are now only $14.99!
If that wasn’t enough, we have our English
friend Tim Coleman here for the regular Thursday
night beer tasting from 4:30 to
7 PM.
He will be sampling the beers that make up
Clipper City Heavy Seas Sunken Sampler - Loose
Cannon
IPA, Classic Lager, Peg Leg Imperial Stout, and
Red Sky Saison Ale. They all come in a cool
pirate12 pack, and with a sleeve of red cups,
would make a perfect beer for the Buffet
concerts.
Just in time for the U.S. Open Golf tournament
in Pebble Beach, and for Father’s Day this
Sunday, we will sample the Crooked Putter Wines
Friday from
4:30
to
7 PM. We
